Notes

'Andromeda' clematis (Clematis 'Andromeda') is a vine for containers, cottage gardens, specimens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The white flowers have rose pink stripes, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit them. Ken Pyne bred it in 1994.

Pairs well with Star magnolia, Big bluestem, Lily, and Joe-pyeweed.
