Notes

'Angela Jo' peony (Paeonia 'Angela Jo') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fragrant, full double flowers attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Cut the stems in bud and open them indoors for more intense color.

Pairs well with August Moon hosta, Black Hero tulip, Phantom panicle hydrangea, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
