Notes
'Anika' peony (Paeonia 'Anika') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant white flowers have deep pink veins and draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. In fall the foliage turns pink, red, orange, and pale green.
Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Annabelle hydrangea, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Black Hero tulip.
