Notes
'Athene' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Athene') is a bulb for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Jac. J. Mense bred this white-flowered bulb, which grows 12 to 24 inches tall. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.
Pairs well with Bishop of Llandaff dahlia, Lemongrass, and False shamrock.
