Notes

'Atlas' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Atlas') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant flowers are ivory white with barium yellow anthers and open from early to late spring. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Grape hyacinth, Black Parrot tulip, and Earth Angel hosta.
