Notes
'Auguste Ravel' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Auguste Ravel') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its fuchsia and magenta blooms make a bold show in the garden. Louis Paillet bred it, and you can bring the flowers indoors in a vase.
Pairs well with Cat mint, Star magnolia, Niobe clematis, and Blue Arrow Rocky mountain juniper.
