Notes

'Aureoreticulata' Japanese honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica 'Aureoreticulata') is a vine for ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers age to pale yellow and are fragrant, and butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit them. Its rapid growth calls for room to climb or spread. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Flowering quince, Anglojap yew, and Blue flag.
