Notes

'Baby Sister' iris (Iris 'Baby Sister') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet soil. Violet blue flowers with a white signal on the falls open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. It grows 12 to 18 inches tall. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Spotted joe-pye weed, Cinnamon fern, and Quick Fire panicle hydrangea.
