Notes

'Badsey Pink' aster (Symphyotrichum 'Badsey Pink') is a perennial for cut flowers, pollinator gardens, meadows, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, clay soil. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and it blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. It sits low on the menu for deer. Its tall stems reach up to 84 inches.

Pairs well with False indigo, Big bluestem, and Joe-pyeweed.
