Notes

'Fellowship' aster (Symphyotrichum 'Fellowship') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and meadows. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late autumn and draws butterflies, bees, and birds. It grows 36 to 60 inches tall with a cascading habit, so give it room. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Big bluestem, Purple Coneflower coneflower, and Blue fescue.
