Notes
Balearic boxwood (Buxus balearica) is an evergreen shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It reaches 6 to 12 feet tall and wide, so give it room. Greenish-yellow flowers open in mid to late spring. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Oleander, Fountain grass, and Gerbera daisy.
Native range
Balearics, southern Spain, and northern Africa.
