Notes
'Ballet Lesson' iris (Iris 'Ballet Lesson') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It grows 9 to 12 inches tall and wide. The peachy pink blooms open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer.
Pairs well with Eastern columbine, Sum and Substance hosta, and Bridal Crown daffodil.
