Notes

'Baroness Schroeder' peony (Paeonia 'Baroness Schroeder') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Kelway bred it, and the large, fragrant double blooms open light pink with a cream center before aging to white. Strong stems hold them upright. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Big Daddy hosta, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Black Hero tulip.
