Notes
'Bengal Tiger' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Bengal Tiger') is a bulb for containers and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry soil. Large orange and ivory flowers have stripes and a green throat, and they sit on black stems above shiny green leaves. Grow it in a pot outside in summer, then bring it indoors after autumn frost.
Pairs well with Fascination dahlia, Millenium ornamental onion, and Shenandoah switchgrass.
