Notes

'Berry Berry Fine' peony (Paeonia 'Berry Berry Fine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The single to semi-double flowers are deep lavender pink with dark plum flares and a mild, pleasant fragrance. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Donald Robert Smith bred it in 2001.

Pairs well with Empress Wu hosta, Charles Joly lilac, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Black Hero tulip.
