Notes
'Better Than Butter' iris (Iris 'Better Than Butter') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer. The flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies.
Pairs well with Columbine, Thalia daffodil, and Pinky Winky panicle hydrangea.
