Notes

Bhutan pine (Pinus wallichiana) is a tree for specimen planting, winter interest, privacy screens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It grows in a pyramidal shape at a moderate pace and keeps its needles all year. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Give it plenty of room to reach its full size.

Pairs well with Paperbark maple, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Autumn fern.
