Notes

'Nana' bhutan pine (Pinus wallichiana 'Nana') is an evergreen tree for specimen planting, accent, winter interest, and foundation use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows in a pyramidal shape at a moderate rate and is drought tolerant. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Its needles stay green all winter.

Pairs well with Sedge, Winterberry, and Prairie dropseed.
