Notes
'Blue by You' sage (Salvia sylvestris 'Blue by You') is a plant for borders, pollinator gardens, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun, average moisture, and sandy soil. Its fragrant flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the plant.
Pairs well with Blue fescue, Gladiator ornamental onion, and Lady of Shalott rose.
