Notes

'Schneehügel' sage (Salvia sylvestris 'Schneehügel') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy soil. White flowers bloom in late spring, early to late summer, and early to late autumn. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the fragrant flowers.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Blue grama, and Creeping juniper.
