Notes
'Bonanza Bolero' French marigold (Tagetes patula 'Bonanza Bolero') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It sits low on the menu for deer. It forms a clumping, fragrant mound up to 12 inches tall with blooms in brown, copper, yellow, orange, and red. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the flowers.
Pairs well with Mealycup sage, Cosmos, and Creeping thyme.
