Notes

'Brocade' peony (Paeonia 'Brocade') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The single blooms are red-gold with crimson edges and deep wine flares. They open in early to late spring. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Guacamole hosta, Greig's tulip, Weigela, and Jackmanii clematis.
