Notes

'Brookside Miniature' Japanese pieris (Pieris japonica 'Brookside Miniature') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, and foundation beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. This slow-growing evergreen has a dense habit and fragrant blooms from early to late spring. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give it room to fill in over time.

Pairs well with Korean spice viburnum, Blue fescue, and Pink Impression tulip.
