Notes

'Brother Stefan' hosta (Hosta 'Brother Stefan') is a perennial for borders, shade gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It forms a mounding clump of variegated leaves with fragrant white flowers. Give it room to spread, since it can reach about 36 inches wide.

Pairs well with Aureola Japanese forest grass, Fringed bleeding heart, and Red baneberry.
