Notes
'Bulletproof' hosta (Hosta 'Bulletproof') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It is salt tolerant and has fragrant flowers that attract hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.
Pairs well with Lady fern, Siberian bugloss, and Little Hottie panicle hydrangea.
