Notes

'Burning Embers' French marigold (Tagetes patula 'Burning Embers') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flowers. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The clumping plants reach 24 to 36 inches tall and bring fragrant blooms in copper, yellow, orange, and red. They tolerate drought and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Mealycup sage, Cornflower, and Cosmos.
