Notes

'Buzz Midnight' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Buzz Midnight') is a shrub for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Its arching stems reach about 35 to 59 inches tall and wide, and it grows fast. Fragrant flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Magnus coneflower, Anise hyssop, Black-eyed Susan, and Feather reed grass.
