Notes

'Candy Stripe' peony (Paeonia 'Candy Stripe') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The double white flowers have red stripes and a mild fragrance, and the long stems may need support. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Roger F. Anderson bred it.

Pairs well with Hosta, Clustered bellflower, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
