Notes

'Cantatrix' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Cantatrix') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Kelway bred it. You can cut the blooms and bring them indoors for a vase. It also fits well in a mixed border with other plants that like the same light and soil.

Pairs well with Francee hosta, Hinoki cypress, and Christmas fern.
