Notes
'Celestial Twilight' viola (Viola cornuta 'Celestial Twilight') is a perennial for borders, containers, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It forms a fast-growing, evergreen clump with fragrant blue, purple, and white flowers. Blooms appear in spring, summer, and autumn, and bees and butterflies visit them.
Pairs well with Ballade tulip, Burgundy Glow bugle, and Fringed bleeding heart.
