'Chasing Rainbows' iris (Iris 'Chasing Rainbows') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and attracts butterflies.
