Notes

'Cherry Glow' poppy (Papaver somniferum 'Cherry Glow') is an annual for borders and low maintenance gardens. It handles cool weather and a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies and bees. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is drought tolerant and grows 24 to 36 inches tall.

Pairs well with Ostfriesland sage, Purple Sensation ornamental onion, and Lady's mantle.
