Notes

'Cherry Rose' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Cherry Rose') is an annual for borders, pollinator gardens, cottage gardens, and food gardens. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It grows fast and stands erect, and it can handle dry spells. Butterflies, bees, and birds all visit it.

Pairs well with Dazzler cosmos, Brocade French marigold, and Red fescue.
