Notes
Chinese pine (Pinus tabuliformis) is an evergreen tree. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It can reach 30 to 50 feet tall and 15 to 20 feet wide, so give it plenty of room. The needles stay on the branches all year.
Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Hornbeam, and Avens.
Native range
Northern China and Korea.
