Notes

'Cleopatra' foxtail lily (Eremurus isabellinus 'Cleopatra') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows 47 to 59 inches tall and bears pale coral-orange blooms from early to late summer. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers, and the plant tolerates drought. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Walther Funcke yarrow, Ornamental onion, Smoketree, and Feather reed grass.
