Notes

Foxtail lily (Eremurus robustus) is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Tall spikes of pale pink, fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Gladiolus, and Woodruff.
