Notes

'Romance' foxtail lily (Eremurus isabellinus 'Romance') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Tall flower spikes need a spot with shelter from strong wind.

Pairs well with Walther Funcke yarrow, Ornamental onion, Orange Gnome catchfly, and Album culver’s root.
