Notes
'Pinocchio' foxtail lily (Eremurus isabellinus 'Pinocchio') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Tall flower spikes draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees, and the plant tolerates drought. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. Blooms open in spring and summer.
Pairs well with Caradonna sage, Moonshine yarrow, and Camelot White digitalis.
