Notes

'Clown' amaryllis (Hippeastrum 'Clown') is a bulb for borders, containers, specimen planting, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The white flowers have vivid red veins. Each umbel carries 3-4 blooms that are 9 inches across. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Balloon flower, and Lemongrass.
