Notes

Cobra lily (Arisaema exappendiculatum) is a bulb for shade gardens, woodland gardens, and container growing. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun and moist soil. It grows up to four feet tall and bears big, bold brown-black or green spathes in spring. The broad leaflets spread in a spoke pattern. In colder climates, you can grow it in a pot and protect it in winter.

Pairs well with Wood sorrel, Lady's slipper orchid, and Snake's head.
