cobra lily

Notes

Cobra lily (Arisaema galeatum) is a perennial that rises 48 to 72 inches tall. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and moist soil. The red spathe fades to green in the upper half and forms a helmet that hides the spadix. In colder climates you can grow it in a pot and protect it in winter.

Pairs well with Cinnamon fern, Sedge, and Snake's head.
