Notes

'Comanche' lagerstroemia (Lagerstroemia indica 'Comanche') is a shrub for borders, specimens, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. It bears coral pink blooms in spring, summer, and autumn, and it is drought tolerant. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Give it room to reach its full spread.

Pairs well with Boxwood, Fountain grass, and Red spider lily.
