Notes

'Concesarini' American arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis 'Concesarini') is an evergreen shrub for hedges, privacy screens, specimen planting, and foundation beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy or clay soil. The dense, fragrant foliage stays green through winter and attracts birds. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Its slow growth keeps it tidy with little care.

Pairs well with Eastern white pine, Berry Poppins winterberry, and Western sword fern.
