Notes
'Concessa Plena' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Concessa Plena') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are double, so each bloom is full of petals. You can cut them for a vase indoors or leave them to brighten the border. Seneclauze introduced it in 1846.
Pairs well with Rainbow's End hosta, Pink Impression tulip, Ostrich fern, and Polish Spirit clematis.
