Notes

'Concorde' common hyacinth (Hyacinthus orientalis 'Concorde') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The fragrant flowers are aster violet with purplish violet veins and open in early to late spring, and bees visit them. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It also tolerates drought.

Pairs well with Queen of Night tulip, Fire Island hosta, and Red Charm peony.
