Notes

'Giant Sungold' sunflower (Helianthus annuus 'Giant Sungold') is an annual for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It cannot take cold, and a freeze will end its season. This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer tend to pass it by. It grows fast and stands erect at about 5 to 6 feet tall. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with First Knight fountain grass, Bright Lights cosmos, and Cerise Queen yarrow.
