Notes
'Dancing Geisha' carnation (Dianthus cincinnatus 'Dancing Geisha') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun. Fringed, drooping white blooms rise from mounds of narrow, blue-green foliage from early to late summer. Deer tend to browse other plants first. The flowers are lightly fragrant and bees visit them.
Pairs well with Hummingbird's mint, Snowdrop, and Yellow iris.
