Notes
'Dancing Snow' bigleaf hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla 'Dancing Snow') is a shrub for cottage gardens, shade gardens, hedges, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White blooms open in early to late summer and again in early to mid autumn. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Give it room to spread up to 60 inches.
Pairs well with Praying Hands hosta, Aureola Japanese forest grass, Autumn fern, and Lenten rose.
