Notes

'Dartmoor' butterfly bush (Buddleja davidii 'Dartmoor') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its fragrant blooms attract butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. It has an arching shape and grows fast. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Feather reed grass, David garden phlox, and Black Baccara rose.
