Notes

'Diane' culver’s root (Veronicastrum virginicum 'Diane') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, meadows, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Tall, erect stems reach about 47 to 59 inches high, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Give it room at the back of the bed.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Bee balm, Lady's mantle, and Globe thistle.
